As our products are made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer's change of mind.

If you have concerns about the quality of the product you received, you may request an exchange for a non-defective item within 14 days from the delivery date. You must keep the entire product, including all packaging materials, intact. However, we cannot accept exchanges in the following cases:

More than 14 days have passed since the product’s arrival.

Any part of the product has been used.

The product has been altered or processed in any way from its original shipped condition.

If we determine it is necessary to inspect the product, we may request you to return it. In such cases, you may send the item back to us (postage fees shall be borne by you).

If we determine that the product is defective, we will exchange it for a non-defective item, except in the following cases:

The condition of the product falls within our acceptable standards.

The damage or defect was caused by reasons not attributable to our company.

If you do not wish to exchange the product after we have determined it is defective, we will issue a refund for the amount paid. We will bear any bank transfer fees incurred in the refund process.

Our liability for damages or losses suffered by the customer shall be limited to direct and ordinary damages only. We shall not be held liable for any compensation or indemnification, regardless of the cause.

Q: How do I place an order?
A: Please select the quantity on each product page and follow the steps to:

Then proceed to purchase via the cart.
After uploading your design data, we will send you a mockup via email within 48 hours.
Once you have reviewed the mockup and confirmed it is satisfactory, please instruct us to begin production via email.
Q: I haven't received the mockup. Why not?
A: Mockups are usually sent to your email address within 48 hours (delays may occur on holidays, etc.).
If you haven't received the email, please check your spam/junk folder.
Occasionally, there may be an error in the email address. Please resend your request with the correct address.

Q: Can I place an order below the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
A: No. We do not accept orders that are below the minimum order quantity (MOQ) stated on the website.

【Delivery & Delays】
Q: Is there a chance of delivery delays?
A: The delivery date is an estimate. We recommend submitting your design with sufficient time before the desired delivery date.
Customs Delays: we are not responsible for delays due to customs inspections, weather issues, or conflicts during international transport.
Shipping Delays: issues during shipping fall under the carrier’s responsibility and will be handled within their scope of compensation.
Copyright Issues: we do not accept designs that may infringe on copyright. Any delay caused by re-submission due to copyright issues is outside our responsibility.
【Defective Products & Returns】
Q: Can I return or exchange defective products?
A: We offer a 14-day return policy. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.

【Templates】
Q: Do you provide dedicated templates for MAKERSMART?
A: Templates can be downloaded from the "Download Template" section on each product page.
Q: Can I submit my design using another company’s template or my own design file?
A: We recommend using MAKERSMART’s official templates.
We cannot guarantee the quality if you use external or self-made templates.
For products without templates, please contact us.
【Design】
Q: Which software version do you recommend for creating design data?
A: Adobe Illustrator (version CS6 or earlier) is recommended. Please save the file in ".ai" format.
Q: Should I create my design in CMYK or RGB?
A: Please create your design in CMYK color mode.
If submitted in RGB, we will convert it to CMYK, which may cause the printed colour to differ and appear dull.
This is due to differences in colour gamut between RGB and CMYK and is unavoidable.
Q: What’s the difference between CMYK and RGB?
A: RGB (Red, Green, Blue) is used for digital screens and is additive colour mixing (brighter colours). CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) is used for printing and is subtractive colour mixing (darker colors).
Differences in colour representation on screen and in print stem from this distinction.
Q: What is the minimum line width or margin that can be reproduced?
A: While it varies by product, a minimum of 2mm is generally recommended.

Q: Do I need to include bleed in my design data?
A: Requirements vary by product. Please refer to the template.
We may request re-submission if your data is incorrect.
Note: some print shifting may occur depending on the product.
Q: What is “outlining”?
A: Outlining converts text into object data to prevent font substitution or shifting.
Be sure to outline all text before submitting your design.
Q: Can I use enlarged images in my design?
A: Enlarged images may have low resolution.
Please ensure they meet the optimal resolution for printing.
Q: What is Illustrator “path” data?
A: It refers to image data composed of coordinate points and connecting lines.
Path-based graphics are scalable without quality loss and are easy to modify.
Q: What is a colour number and where can I check it?
A: Pantone is a standardized color system widely recognized by overseas factories.
We do not provide swatches, but you can check Pantone colours online or in commercial swatch books.
Please specify from the “PANTONE Solid Coated” series (e.g., PANTONE 123C).
Q: Can I name the file anything?
A: Please name your file using up to 8 half-width alphanumeric characters and include the extension (.eps/.tif/.ai/etc.).
Do not use non-English characters in filenames as it may cause errors.
Q: Can you check for typos or design errors?
A: We will check whether the file is printable, but not for typos or design mistakes.
Please double-check your file before submission.
Q: The print colour seems different from the design file or previous orders. Why?
A: Slight color differences may occur due to print settings or machine variation.
Exact colour matching is not guaranteed.
【Mockups】
Q: Can I preview a mockup before production?
A: Yes, a digital mockup will be emailed within 48 hours after ordering.
Production begins after customer approval.
Q: Can I replace the design file after reviewing the mockup?
A: You may replace the design until you give production approval. After that, replacements or cancellations will incur fees, and full payment will still apply.
